Body | We did the Nashua River Brewers Festival yesterday at Riverfront Park in downtown. Thought we were going to be more inundated with people than we were, but the weather looked terribly threatening in the morning (all day, actually). But we had a good crowd, and thank goddess we didn’t get more people because the tent couldn’t have held them. Everything went well, no fights or rudeness or problems, except for poor Haverhill Brewery, whose kegs blew out which made them leave early. Too bad, because their new Whittier White was my pick for the beer of choice at the fest. But boy was there a lot of good beer! I loved what Gardner Ale House and Long Trail brought! What a great time. Thankfully, we made our money back, and a little more for Civic Days and the Riverfront Park, who both desperately need the money.
Ran into a brewer’s representative who says he can bring thirty more brewers next year – we just gotta give him 6 weeks notice. |
