| Body | it’s pretty cool being in Fitchburg these days. We have a new, young Mayor full of energy and vision. Came to Fitchburg, liked what she saw, bought an old fixer-upper on the side of a hill near downtown, and stomped all comers in the mayoral election. She’s keeping us department heads scrambling, but that’s a good thing. But God only knows how she’s going to fund everything come next year’s budget!Among the things our office is working on are kayak play features in the river, removing the wall at the riverfront park to provide access to the water from the park, & expanding the city’s trail network.
